Our Story

Sanford and Vicki Gray along with their English Bull Dog "Buford" moved to Jacksonville Beach, Florida. in January of 2011 from Clarksville, Tennessee. Sanford worked for the County School System and Vicki had her own Accounting Practice. They both wanted to move to be closer to their daughter's family and grandchildren who live in Jacksonville. Also, having a daughter and son who live just up the road in Dublin, Georgia is great. Plus the warmer weather was a big factor. They wanted to purchase a MOM and POPS Restaurant and be close to the beach, they found the HOT DOG HUT !!!!

On February 1, 2011 Sanford and Vicki purchased the Hot Dog Hut from Bay and Donna De Marco who established the restaurant in 2003. They have kept the same menu and quality of food served, along with the same friendly employees Yvonne, Karen, Charlene & G. There have been a few items added to the menu that have become very popular, along with serving BREAKFAST to our many loyal customers.
